Copyright Issues

British law states that copyright come into effect as soon as the work is place into physical form and the work is an original not copied from some other source, meaning that a certain level of skill, originality and work has gone into the creation of the piece.

There are three main areas of copyright, Moral Copyright, Mechanical Copyright and Performance Rights. Moral copyright covers rights the original creator has over there work no mater what and prevent the work being used or changed in a manner the original creator is unhappy with and the prevention of other claiming to have created the work. Mechanical copyright covers the more financial side of things and covers how copies of the work are to be manufactured exported and sold. Performance rights cover the broadcasting displaying of performance of a work.
